CypSec Partners with Bezpecnykod

Strengthening Application Security Training and Education

CypSec is proud to announce a new partnership with Bezpečný kód, a Czech-based project dedicated to improving application security through education, training, and secure development practices. Under this partnership, CypSec and Bezpečný kód will jointly develop and deliver specialised training programmes for developers, technical leadership, and wider engineering teams focused on secure coding, software development lifecycle (SDLC) improvements, threat modelling, and hands-on vulnerability identification and remediation.

The collaboration will combine Bezpečný kód’s proven experience with over 115 projects helping firms meet legislative and compliance requirements (such as NIS2, DORA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC2) with CypSec’s expertise in SaaS security, risk management, and secure communications to offer more comprehensive educational offerings. Bezpečný kód will also contribute its online courses, cheat sheets, checklists, video content, and workshops.

“We have seen growing demand from organisations for not just detecting vulnerabilities, but embedding secure practices across development from day one,” said Frederick Roth, Chief Information Security Officer at CypSec. “Through working with Bezpečný kód, we are enabling developers and teams across Europe to gain practical, immediately-applicable skills in writing secure code, reviewing and hardening their SDLC, and responding to real world application security challenges.”

Bezpečný kód will enable CypSec customers and partners to access its existing programmes such as the “Jak psát bezpečný kód” (How to Write Secure Code) online course, interactive workshops, and secure code writing seminars covering OWASP Top 10 and other common vulnerabilities. Furthermore, the partnership will explore co-developing content in both English and Czech to increase reach, including hands-on labs, threat modelling tools, and review of real world codebases.

Both organisations will also work together to support companies required to comply with regulatory and standards frameworks by integrating secure development best practices into internal processes. Bezpečný kód’s practical audit, code review, and automated vulnerability scanning services will be aligned with CypSec’s risk management offerings to deliver solutions end-to-end, from education to execution.

Bezpečný kód is a Czech initiative founded by Štefan Prokop that focuses on increasing awareness of application security, training developers and non-technical staff, and building a knowledge base of checklists, cheat sheets, video content, and online and offline courses. It has delivered services including secure coding training, source code audits, vulnerability scanning, and SDLC process improvement for over 115 firms.
